These bite-sized Pizza Crostini’s make for the perfect little snack to serve up for lunch with very minimal prep and cooking time. Made with toasted baguette that’s brushed with garlic, tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes and mini mozzarella balls.
I love a good crostini at parties or to nibble on as a snack. So I thought why not keep it fun with some fresh pizza toppings spread onto a baguette. These little guys have all the flavors of a classic margarita pizza except its served on bread.
For the bread i used a baguette, but anything you can cut to make toast, whether ciabatta or sourdough is also a great option. I stuck with some simple ingredients, I used store bought tomato puree as my pizza sauce and seasoned with with salt, pepper and red chili flakes. To keep that authentic pizza feel to it, I chose to use mini mozzarella balls and tore them apart with my hands to give it that rustic look.
I also think this is something that kids can enjoy as an after school snack or if you’re having a party and need to throw in some kid-friendly options on the menu.
