Warm, cozy and comforting dirty chai oatmeal breakfast bowl packed with your favorite fall flavors so healthy and nourishing, full of antioxidants. It’s gluten-free, dairy free, and paleo friendly made with only a few ingredients and ready in 10 minutes!
A power breakfast bowl made with stove top oats, coconut milk, protein powder, brewed espresso, spices and topped with your favorite breakfast bowl toppings like bananas, shaved chocolate and coconut. This breakfast bowl is made with only a few simple ingredients you most likely already have on hand and is something you can quickly throw together when you’re not sure what to eat. We love this as our after workout meal combining breakfast and lunch into one warm dish enough to keep us satisfied until dinner. One of our go to quick and easy meals when we don’t feel like cooking!
It’s when you use brewed espresso or coffee instead of tea in a chai drink which is exactly what we’ve done here.
How do you make a dirty chai breakfast bowl?
First we start by adding our quick oats to a pot with coconut milk. Next pour half the espresso brew along with your spices. Keep stirring to make sure the oats don’t stick to the bottom and burn, this should only take about 3 minutes. Once the oats are ready, transfer to a serving bowl and top with your favorite breakfast bowl toppings like Greek yogurt, nut butter, sliced bananas, shaved coconut and chocolate shavings.
If you’re a fan of chai latte than we strongly recommend giving this recipe a try!
