About Us

Quick & Easy delicious pretzel dogs wrapped in a salty everything bagel pretzel dough. Serve these with a warm beer cheese dip for that perfect game day snack!

Making homemade pretzel dogs might seem like a lot of work but were taking some short cuts here for a quick and easy recipe ready in less than 20 minutes!

For this recipe were using store bought Pillsbury Pizza dough. All you have to do is unroll the dough, cut it into strips and wrap it around the jumbo dogs! There’s no making the dough a head of time or waiting for the dough to rise. Store bought pizza dough works great for quick recipes like this. We do still have to put the pretzel dogs in a water baking soda bath before baking to help the dough puff up in the oven and get golden brown but really all the prep is done for you.

What kind of sausages of dogs do I use?

Choose a brand that you like. We used Jumbo all beef hot dogs. We just like the taste of all beef dogs and find them really juicy. We usually go for a brand that has all natural ingredients, if the package has more than 5 ingredients that’s a sign there’s other products in the dogs like fillers that are unnatural. But really this is totally up to you, if your making this for you kids and they like a certain brand, just go with that brand.

Let talk Toppings

We topped the dogs with everything bagel seasoning, you can sprinkle pretzel flaky salt over them or even parsley and garlic powder. To serve we went a pub style warm beer cheese dip because hey its Superbowl Sunday and we have to have some beer to go along with the game! The beer cheese dip is flavored with a light lager, brown mustard, spices and sharp cheddar cheese.

Happy Superbowl Sunday Everyone!

Cheers
