The name says it all here. We’ve got a chocolate ice cream base shake with chunks of brownies loaded with delicious toppings.
milkshakes are just about the easiest dessert to make. Just throw it all in blender and watch the magic happen!
What goes in a milkshake:
it’s pretty straightforward, start with picking a high quality ice cream. Look for simple, natural ingredients and whole milk. Because ice cream is the main ingredient you’ll want something of good quality. Next up we chose store bought 2-bite brownies to make it easier where everything is readily available. Here you can use your favourite brownie recipe or if you’ve got a fresh batch and have some extras this is a perfect excuse to get rid of them once and for all!
Lastly, it’s all in the toppings! These are what makes the shake so eye-catchingly beautiful. Fully loaded milkshakes are so popular everywhere, most likely you’ve see pictures of these over the top over flowing shakes with pieces of cake, donuts, cookies and other delicious desserts sitting on top.
Chocolate sauce is a great way to get stuff sticking around the rim of the glass. Here we stuck with a classic chocolate sauce rim but you could easily crumble some brownie pieces and stick them on or even some crushed nuts would be another great option. Fresh flowers, edible flowers, and loads of fruit also make for a beautiful garnish.
We hope you enjoy our chocolatey shake!

1. Start by making the chocolate sauce: melt the chocolate and cream until smooth in a bowl over a pot of boiling water.
2. Dip the rim of the glass into the chocolate to create drips around the glass. (optional: crumble brownies onto the rim of the glass by firmly pressing onto the glass) Place glass in fridge until ready to serve.
3. To make the milkshake: Combine chocolate ice cream, milk, and brownies in a blender. Blend until smooth 1-2 minutes and pour into prepared glass filling to the rim.
4. Decorate with whipped cream, fresh berries, and brownies.
