Apple Pie Iced Coffee

The crispness of the air, the scent of fallen leaves, and the comforting flavors of apple pie and apple crisps- it's a season that beckons us to cozy up and savour every moment. So sip on the essence of changing leaves and warm apple desserts in a glass of iced coffee. This delightful creation combines the nostalgic taste of apple desserts with the refreshing chill of iced coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepot, add the apple cider, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and cinnamon sugar. Bring to a boil.
  • When boiling, reduce to simmer 10 minutes or until thickened.
  • allow to cool completely before transferring to a jar with ease of pouring.
  • refrigerate up to 2 weeks.

Notes

*cinnamon sugar: combine equal parts granulated sugar with ground cinnamon.
