- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1/3 cup seasoned panko breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons slat
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- Chimichurri
- ½ cup fresh parsley
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves of garlic
- ¼ cup red onion
- ½ jalepeno seeds removed
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Burgers:
- 2-3 avocados smashed
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 slices of white cheddar
- Brioche burger buns
To make the patties: (We recommend making these a few hours in advance or the day before)
1. Add all ingredients to a bowl, using your hands mix everything together but do not
overmix. Grab a handful of the mixture and roll it into a small using your palms until smooth. Press down onto the ball and form a patty, about ½ inch thick. Refrigerate until ready to grill.
To make the burgers:
3. Heat olive into a frying pan. Fry the onions stirring occasionally for about 10-15 minutes.
4. Spray the grill with cooking spray and heat to medium high heat. Once the grill is hot cook the burger patties for about 3-4 minutes per side. Once the burger is almost done place a slice of white cheddar onto the patties. Melt the cheese and remove the burgers from the grill.
5. To assemble the burgers, place smashed avocados onto bottom bun, next place the patty on top, spread chimichurri over top and garnish with grill onions.
6. Serve immediately with a side of fries
