Ingredients

  • 1 cup pastry flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour can use only all purpose if you prefer
  • 1 TBS baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray donut pans with cooking spray. Set asideIn a large bowl, combine butter, eggs, vanilla and brown sugar whisk until combined about 2 minutes.
  • 2. In a large measuring cup or medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cacao powder combine the ingredients with a fork.
  • 3. Alternate between the dry ingredients and the milk folding them into the wet ingredients to combine. If you find the batter a bit too thick feel free to add a little bit of milk to reach your desired texture.
  • 4. Add the mixture into the molds and bake for 12 minutes. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
