Heat oven according to directions on the pizza dough packaging. Normally around 374 to 400 degrees F.
Prep all your ingredients so that they are ready to use when making your pizza. Slice your olives, slice the red onion, slice your jalapeno, shred your cheese and slice the salami –optional but we sliced the salami into strips much easier to eat the pizza that way
To assemble the pizza, place your dough on the counter and spoon pizza sauce onto the dough and leave a 1 inch of crust exposed around the edges. Spoon enough sauce to desired preference, my husband likes a lot of sauce on his pizza so put as much as you want or as little.
Next you want to sprinkle your cheese over the pizza. Leave enough cheese on the side to go over the pizza again once you’ve added your toppings.
Layer the pizza with your salami, red onions, jalapenos and olives. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the toppings. This method helps makes sure that your toppings don’t slide off when you take a bite. To make the everything bagel crust, brush the edges with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder and everything bagel seasoning.
Place your pizza directly on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 12 minutes until the edged are golden brown. If you like your cheese to have more of a golden brown finish, broil the pizza for 1 minute before removing from the oven.
To serve, drizzle the pizza with honey, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes and top with freshly chopped basil.
