Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 10 slices american cheddar
  • 1/2 cup white onion chopped
  • shredded iceburg or romaine lettuce
  • sliced pickles
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • Big Mac sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS yellow mustard
  • 1 TBS ketchup
  • 1 TBS relish
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • With your hands gently form the ground beef into a small puck about 2 inches tall, pressing together just until meat holds its shape without falling apart. Season generously on all sides with salt and pepper. Should form about 10 burgers. Alternatively you could just cook the ground beef in a large skillet until fully browned.
  • Heat a grilled over medium heat, lightly spray with olive oil. Cook pressed burger 3-4 minutes per sides until browned. Place a slice of cheese on the burger during the last minute of cooking. Remove from the heat and tent lightly to keep warm.
  • In the meantime have all of the ingredients prepared for assembly. Chop the lettuce and onions, and have the pickles ready. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and stir until just combined.
  • In a pan or on the same grill, lightly coat each side of the tortillas with cooking spray and warm each for 30 seconds. Keep warm and repeat until all the tortillas have been warmed.
  • To assemble: place burger on one side of the tortilla, top with onion, 3-4 pickles, and lettuce. Finish with sauce and enjoy!
