- 1 cup pastry flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour can use only all purpose if you prefer
- 1 TBS baking powder
- pinch of salt
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup milk
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray donut pans with cooking spray. Set asideIn a large bowl, combine butter, eggs, vanilla and brown sugar whisk until combined about 2 minutes.
2. In a large measuring cup or medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cacao powder combine the ingredients with a fork.
3. Alternate between the dry ingredients and the milk folding them into the wet ingredients to combine. If you find the batter a bit too thick feel free to add a little bit of milk to reach your desired texture.
4. Add the mixture into the molds and bake for 12 minutes. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
